Easter Pics
Getting everyone ready to go to Baka's on Easter Sunday. Mabel wasn't interested in having a picture taken.
That's a little better.
They clean up pretty well when their hair is actually washed and brushed.
Indoor egg hunt at Baka's:
Charlotte didn't even miss having candy when she realized the alternative was cash!

Charlotte loved her dress so much, she slept in it and wore it the next morning to school. The girls were doing some starfall.com on the computer before we left for school drop-off.

Charlotte's Art Show
Charlotte's preschool class had their Spring Art Show on Wednesday evening. Here is a representative sample of her work:

Some random things, and Sunshine!
The trampoline has been floating around a few different spots in the house, but this is always one of the girls' favorite things to do with it: Mabel jumping on Charlotte.

Charlotte is so excited for vacation and summer, she wears her bathing suits and sandals around the house all the time. I especially loved the socks she was wearing here:
March started off with snow, and then this week we have had 80 degree heat. The kiddie pool and squirt guns came out yesterday:

Visit to Michigan
I took the girls to Michigan for a week to see Grandma and Grandpa. Despite some baggage delays and flight cancellations, we had a pretty great week!
There wasn't any snow at home when we left, so Mabel was excited to get out and play in the "No!"

Feeding the elk.

Hey, little girl, bring that carrot a little closer, it looks tasty!
"No, Mine!"

At the Discovery Center:
The obligatory trip to Call of the Wild. Charlotte was on better terms with the animals this time around.

Charlotte convinced Grandpa to get out the outdoor Christmas ornaments and do some decorating with her:

Then they did some "camping" in the back yard:
But this was her favorite part of the trip - a daily swim at the Sportsplex, especially when the water slide was open!
Mabel got to go swimming a couple of times, too.

Christmas and Stuff
One perk to doing most of my Christmas shopping online: Lots of boxes for the girls to play in!

Charlotte made a gingerbread village, but probably stuck more candy into her mouth than onto the houses:
We drove up to NH to stay in a condo at Bretton Woods for the Christmas weekend. We celebrated Charlotte's birthday on the 24th with some cupcakes:
Getting pulled to the sledding hill:
Mabel's time outside didn't last long, since she refused to leave her mittens on in the balmy 12 degree weather:
Charlotte helped Baka decorate our living Christmas tree:
Kids in bed, presents being put out and assembled. Matt is working on the mini-trampoline that Uncle Andrej got the girls.
And Uncle Andrej and Uncle Ryan work on assembling the barn that Mommy and Daddy got for the girls:
All done, time for some apple pie!
Le the mayhem begin!

Charlotte's new camera:
Mabel loves the doll that Charlotte picked out for her!
