Our Summery Sunday

Ryan biked (yes, like on an actual bicycle you have to pedal) to our house today and hung out with us for the afternoon and evening. We played some cribbage, walked down to the lake and went swimming, and grilled out. All in all, a pretty great way to spend a Sunday.

Another good use for excess sunscreen - creating baby mohawks!

At the beach, getting ready to head to the water:
As you can see, Charlotte's first impression of the lake was "wahhhhh":
But she gave it a second chance, and things improved:
And after a couple minutes, life was good again:
On the walk home, eating her stroller. (Matt wanted me to caption this photo "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope" since he thinks Charlotte's swim cover-up makes her look like Princess Leia. I wasn't sure the picture really conveyed that, but he seemed to find it rather humorous nevertheless. [Insert whatever Star Wars geek comments you like here])
