Week in Review

Last Sunday, we drove down to Wingaersheek Beach for the day. It was an awesome beach and we can't wait to go back again. Nice sand, lots of rocks to climb on, tide pools for Mabel to splash in, and crystal clear (cold!) Atlantic water.
Mabel loves to climb on Charlotte's old red bike - she'll be riding after her in no time!

The volunteer sunflowers that sprouted up under the bird feeder have started to bloom!
A variety of flowers I cut at Slavko's house that have been making our whole house smell like lilies.
Charlotte's boo-boo of the week - road rash on the face from falling out of the stroller onto Rte 25 during our Tuesday morning walk.

Charlotte makes lots of interesting fashion choices these days. I was particularly impressed with her inside-out dress and a pair of Mabel's shorts stretched over her head! (Notice the tooth brushes in her hand - Holly, Lolly, Polly, Mommy, and Daddy Toothbrush Family are still hanging around)
After bath tonite, Charlotte wanted to sleep in her ladybug dress, and we discovered that the Tinkerbell dress is the perfect size for Mabel.

While Matt was grilling on Friday evening, Charlotte played "ice cream stand" through the garage window. Most of what she says is unintelligible mumbling, but her gestures and expressions are pretty hilarious.
